Not only one of the finest games of this generation but ever.If you have a PS3 you must own this.
Story
Nathan Drake is searching for the legend of Shambala which Marco Polo searched far and wide for leading him to many destinations but also searching for it is the main villain Zoran Larzervic.
Gameplay
Well the gameplay improved massively over its predesscor in everyway possible. The melee attacks seem to work much better and you can pull them off easily by using square to attack and triangle to block melee attacks. Also a new feature is stealth. Drake can sneak up on enemies backs and throw them. So you don't need to waste bullets for small groups of enemies. There is alot more action in this game because virtually everywhere is none stop action. You shall encounter vechiles like tanks and helicopters which attack you. Also there are a few new weapons like grenade launchers,rocket launchers,crossbows and more. The locations you go bring out the atmosphere and make you feel part of the game. In one part of the game Drake will struggle to walk because of being hurt badly.
The puzzles are a bit tricky but not to hard which is nice. Also this time you can look in Drakes diary and flip pages to see things such as photos as well as the clues to solving puzzles. The platforming is like it was in the last game but in one area you have to avoid being hit by lights while riding on a train and also there are parts where you have to jump from one cart to another. There is running and gunning which works well and also you can use turrets as well. The action is basically none stop and you shall love it.
Sound and Graphics
The music like the last one is very nice indeed another brilliant orchestrated soundtrack by Naughty Dog. The sounds of men and other enemies voices are great. The graphics I have to say are perhaps the finest in any game ever. The amount of detail when at a high place shows you the amount of effort put into this game. The cut scenes are very realistic and the characters faces look like that to during them.
Multiplayer
The added bonus of online is a very good addition and has no problems in terms of lag. There are tons of modes in online to like Capture the Flag,Co - op multiplayer allowing players to take on certain roles of characters to do certain missions as Nathan,Chloe and Elena. There's also deathmatch where you have to help your team reach 50 kills before your rival and there's a good and a bad side but still plays the same. The game chooses who you are with.
Lastabilty
It should take about 10 hours to do the normal game but there is multiplayer as well as doing it again because you will want to play the single player again. You will be playing both modes alot because of the fact that it is a really good game.
Overall Opinion
In my opinion this has to be the best game to ever hit the PS3. Thrilling story with plenty of action and solid multiplayer to go with it. If you own a PS3 and don't own this then I suggest you do so it really is an absolute masterpiece. With an awesome single player mode. The game has so many amazing moments you just need to get it and expereince it for yourself.
