No, seriously... it's the best game ever made! The original Uncharted was an incredible game and was clearly under-appreciated upon first release and I think it only got an 8.0 rating. That was mainly due to an uneven difficulty between different aspects of the game which I guess I could see. Uncharted 2 is a better game in every possible way. You're basically playing a movie and the story, characters, action, and animation are all thoroughly believable and engrossing. You never want to put the controller down for a second and the action is perfectly paced and varied such that it always feels fresh. The graphics are honestly awe-inspiring and I found myself spending time just gazing at the lush scenery which comes alive with fascinating attention to detail. All that brilliance and it's only running at 720p but you'd probably never notice. The gameplay mechanics are fluid and natural although I agree with the reviews that the cover system can be sticky at times but that really doesn't matter. There's so much offered in Uncharted 2 that the game should appeal to everyone and anyone and there's a difficulty setting to please any player's level of experience. The only bad thing about this game...? After playing it there's no other game to date that can come close to it and there probably never will be... until Uncharted 3.
