Uncharted 2: I just charted the game in over 14 hours of recorded gameplay

User Rating: 9 | Uncharted 2: Among Thieves PS3
A good sequel to the original but with sublime graphics and gameplay.

Graphics: 9.5/10
Storyline: 8.0/10
Controls: 9.0/10
Gameplay: 9.0/10

The upcoming third title in the series will be interesting and i will be waiting with much anticipation. Title is definately worth a play-through but i'm not too sure about 'replay' value although i've never been one to replay games once i have completed them.

The graphics really appear to make use of the PS3 processing power (i can hear my console whirring away when put under a little pressure!). The transition between levels or stages is quite nice where they start where each finishes with no obvious change that this is happening and is a seamless process.

The controls are very good on this game as it was on the original. Tips are given as what to press at certain times (not sure if this is difficulty level specific?). The AI is sometimes a bit suspect with enemies not always as aware of your presence as you would expect.

The game is linear and so does not allow for too much free-roaming gameplay and does not allow for overly exploring enviroments which some may like and some may not. I felt the balance was just right with this game.

Game saves are recorded automatically if preferred, however, the saves only record actual gameplay and not how much actual time spent repeating a level.

Overall, i'd rate this game as 9.0/10 and a must for any rpg / platform gamer especially those already familiar with the series.
