How does it feel to go from an unknown character to being as real as an iconic celebrity known by name? When you mention Nathan Drake, gamers everywhere remember him, but his name doesn't just ring as a 3d animated computer graphic, it rings as a full blown and recognized character. Uncharted 2 marks a point of time in the PS3's life where it turned things around and completely blew the gaming world out of the water. Uncharted 2 was something we'd never seen before and was completely unexpected. It began a new genre of games with the
"cinematic experience" which were also seen in games like Heavy Rain, Splinter Cell Conviction, Call of Duty 3 and many more. Nathan's crazy adventure and story made for the most explosive and thrilling gameplay we'd seen in a long time. Uncharted 2 consisted of puzzles, characters, crumbling worlds, beautiful maps...and heart. It took heart for developers to want to design something as immense and deep as this. Uncharted 2 is an iconic game that will be remembered for decades to come.
