Honestly, I have no idea how this game came to be so good. I don't even... (seriously, I'm not joking)

About 8 years ago Activision released a game. Not unusual, they publish dozens of games a year, but this one was different. The odds were against the little guy, it was value priced, (never a good sign) and happened to be based off the infamously bad genre of simulated, simulated violence known as the paintball video game. I have no idea the mindset I was in when I purchased Ultimate Paintball Challenge for my personal computer, perhaps my gaming catalog at the time was wearing incredibly, incredibly thin, or maybe I was losing faith in gaming, or wait better yet, life altogether and needed a miracle, the kind of which found during the forming of the earth, or on Christmas morning when children all over the world, from different walks of life wake up and discover a tree packed with piles and piles of presents underneath. Well regardless, I found one of these miracles, in the form of an unlikely game of DIGITAL PAINTBALL.
If under any circumstance you are presented with the opportunity to play this game. Please, for your sake, play. Play my friend play. Relish in its addictive, fast paced paintball action. Enjoy the decent selection of maps each well laid out and with a good range of different textures and graphics. Savor the solid artificial intelligence that responds to player commands, such as "DEFEND" "ATTACK" and "FOLLOW ME".
You will have fun. You, as I did, may even learn to love again.
