Wow, this was a long time ago!
C64 and 3 hours a night sleep....just to get up and play U7 as much as i could.
I was just a kid discovering one of the true classics at this time.

My mother would criticise me for spending too much time playing and not enough looking for a job (sound familiar??), but i didn't care.

I was completely at the mercy of this incredible world, with all it's dangers, it's hidden treasures, and this wonderful feeling that there was something truly terrible out there.....

I've never given a 9.5 to any review, but with this game and UFO (which i have yet to review but i must just to pay tribute), i was sorely tested.

However, i must score both a 9.0.

Where paper dungeons and dragons sent my imagination into overdrive, U7 reinforced to me in no uncertain terms that i really wanted fantasy to take pride of place in my life.
