Value For Money Combined With New Features Makes This The Best Game On The Market This Week!!
This games is all that it is made up to be and if you are a MMA fan you will love it with the aid of UFC and Pride! The game feels more then a button pushing free for all and has concentrated more on the technical perspective where you have to fight wisely according to your fighters skills (e.g. I was an advanced strikers and I stupidly went to the ground having rocked a BJJ fighter, who then submitted me), thus meaning that the repeated strong punches to the face, don't win you fights in about 20 secs. Also opponent will defend themselves better with the aid of being able to sway and block when you are on your back.
Training has been redesigned, you are able to play mini games (e.g. hitting and moving around a punch bag), which allows you to increase particular skills in you fighter (similar to training methods in The Ultimate Fighter).
Although the gameplay in general is excellent some of the new features and additional features of the game I am rather disappointed that they need to polish!
1). When I heard that they were going to allow you to create your entrances and choose the music, I thought GREAT! However you can only use the music in the game which is rather poor :0( Why didn't they allow a form of import where you CD tracks or MP3 tracks could be used!! THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN GREAT!!!
2). The main events still lack that true UFC feel, I would like to see the weigh-ins, which allow you to see all fighters face each other with the ability taunt or respect them.
3). Another thing I cant understand is why there isn't more names available to choose when creating a fighter! There are fighters in the game that have names that you are unable to choose when creating a fighter (e.g. there is no option to select a first-name of Matt yet Matt Hughes is in the game).
4). Also there are no Female fighters, however this is being very picky!
However If These Features Were Met, You Wouldnt Need To Ever Buy A UFC Game Again!
