Ok, let me just start by saying that UFC on the PS4 looks beautiful.With that said, MMA is a sport that makes you bite your nails because of the tension when two warriors walk in the octagon cage. EA does not handle that very well in this game.
Do you all remember that horrible boxing game Prize Fighter? The boxer's punches felt weak and soft....well that sort of happens here too. Some of the punches don't have enough "umph" behind them. There is no sense of danger most of the time when I get hit.
I do want to praize the submission battles.The system used for them are fun. But I still do miss a bit of realism on the submission battles. Not all submissions take a minute to execute in an MMA fight. Fighters sometimes take too many hits, your fighter seems to be a terminator withstanding all of that punishment.
In general I know EA can do so much better with this franchise. It feels like a rushed game..or even worse.... they thought that just with pretty graphics the game would sell.
