For 20 Bucks, you cant go wrong. Twisted Metal is Back!

User Rating: 8.5 | Twisted Metal: Head-On - Extra Twisted Edition PS2
Myself, being a huge fan of Twisted Metal Black, picked this up simply for the lost levels. but i also got a pretty good game in Head On and some bonus content as well.

The lost levels are great, especially the Carnival level. The others are good as well, except i wasnt too fond of the the secret level you unlock which takes place on a couple of ships. Theres only 1 new character, (i didnt like him much) and 1 secret character (a gold sweet tooth) but all in all your just getting some new levels and minor gameplay tweaks. But if your a huge TMBlack fan, its definately worth it.

Head on is like a mix of black and twisted metal 2, which is a great thing. The gameplay is top-notch, except for the annoying minigames you have to play through once to get all the characters/levels. The levels are layed out well, and the game gives you an appropriate challenge (though it can get frustrating having only 3 lives on Hard to play through the entire campaign). WHile the ending movies are still fun, their not quite as well done as Black, but youll still probably want to see them all. All in all, i was suprised with how good Head on is, and he graphics arent all that bad, though they are a step-down from Black.

You also get the bonus stuff im sure youve read about, its all good to go through once, but theres no reason to watch again, that is, except for the Twisted 1 cheesy ending movies. Those vids are great lol.

So if your a big TM fan, definately check this out, hoever if your new to the series, go with Twisted Metal Black first.
