A decent improvement from Streets of LA graphic and storywise.

*after the review* I realize that the True Crime series was quite underrated and just thought that I would mention that. I'd be the first person to break their hype meter if they ever decided to make another one. Sadly I see no news for another one being developed, so that disappoints me. fortunately this one is still fun to play sometimes. I've already played it a lot so yeah.

The True Crime games aren't as good as the Grand Theft Auto series, but they still were fun. You are actually the good guy in this series (but that doesn't meen you can't be bad) ;)

The graphics of TC: New York City improved greatly from streets of L.A. It is loads more violent (body parts fly off, more blood\gore) so that's pretty cool. There are a few cases to solve but they are somewhat lengthy, although overall the game isn't so lengthy. There are street races, fights, and other mini-games.

This game can be annoying though, it's easy to accidentally run over a group of people and have the fuzz chasing you. Not just that though, this game is VERY glitchy, they didn't take so much time with this one.

Graphics: 8\10- only cause of the glitches

gameplay: 7.5\10

value: 6.5\10

sound: 6\10- somewhat annoying

Not a game or series I play that much now though, and of course not the best game ever, I would like to see them make an improved one for the PS3 but I don't know if they stopped or gave up on making them, I wouldn't know.
