The game is very addicting due to its graphics and micromanagement, the only setback is the difficulty to establishing a very booming economy at the start. Politics and factions are nice, but you are unable to determine what government you have because you would have to consider the satisfaction of the political factions on the island. The game lack the real world, even though the USA and USSR are featured in game you have very little options for trade and alliance and diplomacy. Warfare even though featured is not very impressive, army and police just for fending off rebels and quell uprisings, but the option of attacking other islands lack.. maybe because of the games focus on Tropico. The game is great and all but lack many real world features. I hope Tropico 4 features more of politics and diplomacy and maybe more warfare ? Anyway any sequel to this would receive a warm reception.
