@Olsenz There are two different games, one is decepticons, and one is Auto-bots. They both have unique campaigns and vehicles, but through multi-player, you can unlock the rest of the vehicles. It just depends what campaign you want to play.
It's really good because it incorparates the old guy stuff & it also has the fresh stuff that the kids like. You can even make your own robot whichis pretty much what all the people want to do, but not alot of game have it. I think it will be a great seller. 8)
He did say that you have to buy autobots campaign and decepticons campains separately... But you can unlock all the characters from the other game... Whot the hack is going to buy both of them? ?120, they're crazy...
You could buy both, but he said they are all unlockable on one single disk. I guess it depends on which side you want to play through first. Sounds like a waste of resources to me. It would make more sense to have both versions already available if that is how it is going to be.
Did he say you have to buy the Autobot and Decepticon missions separately?!? Please tell me that you dont have to buy 2 different games for this otherwise no matter how much i love Transformers not getting this game because if thats the case thats just abusing the Transformers fan base and taking advantage of how much they enjoy the transformers series.

I agree with angadriar. I dont c how this game could be on DS and not be on the PSP....Lame. Strange sense of consoles.
I hope this delivers, both as a game, and to the old-school transformer fans who have had to put up with the commercialized dross of late (that 3D effects were awesome). I will keep a close eye on this one.
Sad to see this isnt a game, where you can create your own and play with and against other players :( Hope they add that to the game
I hope they have multiplayer not just co-op. Also i hope we see alot of character packs. ROTF only had one character pack and Activision said that there is a whole list of dlc for ROTF. LIES LIES AND MORE LIES. I hope they get it right. ROTF multiplayer does kick major a**.
We still need to wait to hear about the rest of the game's features, but so far I think the game looks cool. Though I hope the campaigns don't turn out to be short as there are lots of stuffs that they can do with a Transformers game that is not based on the movies.
thats sweet how you and two other friends can play both story modes and the online gameplay i know well be sweet because ROTF online gameplay kicked but.

I pray this game doesn't turn out Mediocre. as a Transformers fan i've always wanted a Good game based on the franchise. and the last two games based on the movies average at best. like i said. hopefully Activision and high moon studios can do for Transformers what Rocksteady did for Batman...Make a kick ass game that'll (hopefully) turn into a more games in the future.
Why cant they make it co op and multiplayer splitscreen its always has to be online, games these days always have that and it really ticks me off.
If done right this can be batman : arkham asylum type game for the transformers universe.
They didn't rule out completely multiplayer..... They just talked about coop and DS...... They might go multiplayer if they think it will be popular..... on the other hand this is Activision........
man i hope the wii and ds versions are good in the multiplayer department. no "allspark wars" please! give the nintendo gamers the transformers deathmatch we deserve plz
This sounds realy cool. I love the co-op part of the game. And lots of Autobots and Decepticons is realy sweet. =)
wow, that first guy actually sounds like he knows what the f**k he's talking about. I do have to say, any game dev who talks about the game controls before he even mentions what the game is based on is a good sign :D
(wiping tears away from eyes) Wow... even if this turns out to be crap, I"m still gettin' it! The story by itself seems like it's going to be awesome! And as long as I get to play as Jazz, Thundercracker or Skywarp I'll be in heaven or "one with the Matrix"!
