The potential for this licence was huge. Massive film, awesome newly designed transformers and the heritage of one of the best cartoon/toy ranges of the 80's

Sadly the game is left lacking, it feels cobbled together with the minimum of effort. Little differentiates the PC and console versions, so you would probably be best to play with a pad, keyboard mouse works ok but the driving/flying doesnt quite have cohesion.

The backgrounds are graphically dull and repetitive

The sounds are not convincing nor loud enough, where is the transforming noise?

It's playable, but I wouldn't recommend it to a die hard fan as they will be left feeling let down and there are much better ways to spend 40 quid
