it's good enough, but maybe a non-transformers fan will not like this..

Right, this game is good. I don't know how other people will react to this game, but for me it's good (especially because I'm a great transformers fan).
First, I will tell you about the 'plus' points :
- Good, and easy game controls
- The game play is not boring (for me)
- Good bonuses, better than the first game
- The weapons are more useful than the previous game
- Good puzzle
The 'minus' points:
- There are only some robots that appear in this game, maybe only about 8 or 9 from both autobots and decepticons (the movie has 29 robots from both factions)
- Only a few levels
- We cannot transform into vehicle form (unless we do a special move)
- The change of game play; the first game gave a free-roaming area, but now they change it into level-based
- The cross hair moves too fast
- Too many differences from the movie in the story part
The game has two modes of game play, the first is 'on foot' level, where we fight drones and bosses as one of the Transformer; and vehicle part, where we control the robots in their vehicle form.
On the 'on foot' level, we can do melee combats; which is easy to be controlled; or use our primary or secondary weapon to destroy the drones (now the weapons are used effectively, not like the first game, where the weapons are useless). Not just that, we can do special moves or power-up, these moves can destroy almost all drones in the area easily. This helps us (especially me), much.
The boss fights are easier than the first game. In the first game, most of the boss must be thrown so they can be attacked; this is the most frustrating part of the game. Now, we must effectively use the weapons and our melee moves to defeat them. After that, we must hit some button sequences (just like in Star Wars The Force Unleashed) to end some bosses.
Then, there are also some puzzles. These puzzles really need our brain, where we must get a laser to a point by deflecting the laser with some mirrors available, so the way will be opened for you. It's difficult, but for me it's an improvement, and shows that in this game we also need brain.
Despite some improvements in the game play or control, there are also some minus point. First, we cannot transform instantly from vehicle to robot, unless we do a special move that decreases our energy (although the special moves are cool and very useful), or in the vehicle level. Second, the graphics are worse than the first game. Maybe it;s because the developers and publisher more focused on the next-gen consoles. It's not bad, just average. And, there are also a few levels and robots here. There are only Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Ironhide, and Jetfire for the Autobots, and Megatron, Sideways, Starscream, The Fallen for the Decepticons. I think they should give us more choice of robots.
The last is the multiplayer part. In the story mode, player one will be the main robot, and player two will be a small robot. Floating, shooting, exploding, and transferring energies, that's what the small robot can do. In the arena mode, we choose a robot, then go to battlefield to destroy waves of drones with our friend.
To conclude, this game is good enough with many improvement, even though there are also some minus point. But for me, it's fun, and I love Transformers.
