Trainz 2004 is a game for train lovers.
The game has 3 ways of playing: Driver, Scenarios and Surveyor.
In Driver you pick a scenario, a session and you are good to go.
Scenarios mode is a bit different. Here you earn points of how well you drove the train. For example, if a train has arrived on schedule in a station, you earn 200 points and if a train is speeding, you loose points.
Surveyor is the track editor. It is very easy to use by everybody, it is fun and if you have imagination, you can create a route quick.
Also there is a Railyard where all the trains from the game are available to look at.
Trainz 2004 has some flaws as well: it can rain in tunnels and crashes are unrealistic.
