Trackmania Nations is a game with brilliant designs, good multiplayer and Super Monkey Ball levels - for free.

The best thing about this game is that it is free and simple. You can still make your own tracks, but simpler. It still doesn't hurt too much, since anyone who was frustated to Trackmania Sunrise's level design will be delighted to this game. Instead of adding land to waste coppers, you already have a wide space of grass, and ready to freely add your track, design and twist 'n' turn. You will defaintly make hard tracks, even if you have just started using the track editor. You can use paint to your cars, and you can also choose which team you want to be - America to Australia it's all here. Also, you can choose with hot-seat multiplayer, which works very well. You can also go online and share your track designs, and the online basicly is very simple and it'll go fast. You will find quite alot of people to race or share too.

Of course, if you don't linke meeting strangers, you can always use a safe, LAN mode to choose over people that you do know, but - to be fair - is quite useless. The bad points of this game is not too huge. The menu design is horrible and green, and the sound is basic aswell. But, the graphics are superb, and the grass looks meaty fresh. The animation is smooth but isn't quite Half-Life 2. There is lots of value, sure, but there is only 30 levels in each set. But the levels are like Super Monkey Ball - it starts of baby simple and then the levels get fairly harder and harder, each level and set. You may - if you are TrackMania boffins - complete all of the set levels in six or so hours, but if you look carefully, a few, more levels are just waiting to be played, and god - they are hard.

The gameplay has also - at times - got some slow down flawes if you are working on XP, but soon, it works perfectly, and you won't reconize a bug at all. The game is also FREE.
