Gameplay of an inconcievable magnitude

User Rating: 9.2 | TrackMania Nations: Electronic Sports World Cup PC
Who would have thought that an excellent game like this would have come from our overseas counterparts in Europe (no offense)? For any American (or any other countries' residents), you may not have even heard of this game because it's original was released only in Europe. It's sequel was released around the world last year and was unadvertised. Why is this game so great compared to the rest of the TrackManias? There are plenty of key factors...

For one, the game is free. It's a full game at the price of none, so what's there not to like about it? You can download the game at its website: www.trackmania.com free of charge. With the download, you get all the goodness of TrackMania: a track and car editor plus the excellent online gameplay seen in TrackMania Sunrise.

The track editor is not as complex as it was in TM Sunrise, as you only have a large, grassy stadium to build your tracks inside of; however, this doesn't stop many. You race on some of the craziest tracks online that you'll think the author just came out of the loony bin. You'll also get that little feeling inside that you got when you zoomed your Hot Wheels around a small orange track as you fly off of huge jumps, go through loops, ride walls, and pull off some sick (in the best way) tricks that possess no absolute point in the game.

The car editor is the same as it was in Sunrise, with the exception of the car models you can paint. The cars do not vary in Nations model wise. You race an indy-style car around stunt courses, so you won't have much to add on to it unless you plan to sit around and show off instead of racing.

For anyone who enjoys insanity and Hot Wheels, this is the perfect game for you. One would only hope that Nadeo will come out with another great sequel.
