I had a sense of joy reading about the idea and vision brhind the game and liked the scenarios of proceedingly random generated maps to pull me through hours on end! The game was free in April 2015 as a PS Plus Member, so I jumped the gun! The game at first looks and feels like it hid the market 10 years later than planned, while it carries a nostalgic Doom/Quake-feel it is rather the case, that it's mainly a bad thing. The game is fast paced, and carries a good reason for rebooting upon death, to obtain unlocked new weaponry or abilities. The main issue here though, is that you don't necessarily gain any new items upon death, for me my first five games had me dying during the first boss fight - only to start over with exact same items with no progression. The game overall gives a rugged impression and it feels more like an old mod for a game or like a sort of indie project on Steam Greenlight - having to eventually pay money for this - can end in having a bad experience of disappointment.
