A fun game for multi player play but single player is lacking and the game has a bit too much familiarity to it.

To start with this game is quite fun in a multi player sense. Running around blasting tons of beasties with friends is as amusing as it's ever been. Account setup is easy and the multi player friends/game interface is simple and the multi player works flawlessly.

The graphics of the game are pretty standard, a bit cartoonish for my tastes but technically sound. The spell and ability effects are fairly tame but not ugly.

The spell and ability sound effects are done well and the ambience is good, one thing that bothers me with music in the game (the music is done well but that's besides the point.) Is the fact that a lot of it sounds like it was ripped directly from Diablo 2 especially in act 2. Which just throws me off it strikes me as rather lazy in fact.

On top of that while the skills sounds effects are fine and they look decent they are however extremely...well boring is the only way I can describe it. They aren't interesting in the least especially since there are so few of them...take the embermage for example. From level one to twenty eight if you want to go frost you have two offensive spells to choose from.

The story itself is so boring and it's almost copy paste Diablo , even the act placement act 2 is desert? How surprising!

I do like the ability to have your pet sell items in its inventory it is extremely useful.

All in all it is a fun game to play with friends but even then it is nothing spectacular and I would certainly not play it single player. Depending on how much you paid for it, it should be worth it and give you 30 to 40 hours of play.
