The game that started it all
You play as any one of these pro skateboarders: Tony Hawk, Bob Burnquist, Kareem Campell, Rune Glifberg, Buckey Lasek, Chad Muska, Andrew Reynolds, Geoff Rowley, Jamie Thomas, or Elissa Steamer. The levels are Warehouse Woodland Hills, School Miami, Mall New York, Skatepark Chicago, Downtown Minneapolis, Downhill Jam, Burnside Portland, San Francisco, and a secret level. In Career Mode you go through levels where you complete 5 objectives. There are also some competitions. When you get all gold medals in he competetions and get all the objectives in every level with every skater, then you beat the game.
Controls: 10/10
Perfect controls for a skating game. X is get speed and ollie, triangle + directional button is grind tricks, circle + directional button is grab tricks, and square + direction buttons are flip tricks. This is te perfect control scheme for a skateboarding game.
Graphics: 8/10
The graphics are pretty pixilated, but hey, it's Playstation, what do you expect. The charecter models are pretty good and the level designs are great.
Sound: 10/10
Perfect soundtrack. It has awesome punk music and absolutely no rap music! All the other Tony Hawk's Pro Skater games have some rap music, but this one doesn't. This is the best soundtrack on any Tony Hawk's Pro Skater game.
Difficulty: 6/10
This game is pretty easy. Only 5 objectives a level and they are all really simple. The competitions are easy too. This is the easiest out of all the Tony Hawk pro Skater games, but it's still the second best (the best is the 2nd one).
Replay Value: 10/10
You will want to keep on playing this game over and over. You will never want to stop. This game is very, very addicting and the levels are great. It's still fun to play till this day.

You need to buy this classic game now. If you don't have it, you need it. It's very rare, but if you get the chance, then please pick it up.
