Another great skateboarding game and here's why....

Yet another game to dial in your video game skateboarding skills. Tony Hawks Pro Skater 3 is a well made game adding more variety to your trick arsenal. Gameplay is very nice and the variety in levels for career mode will please any type of skater whether you prefer vert or street. Tony Hawk 3 still has the standard setup of 2:00 minute runs in which you must achive the highest score, fine S-K-A-T-E, or just do whatever weird things the makers of the game came up with. One thing that really made this game different from the rest is the abilitie to do reverts to link tricks together in a half pipe and other places. The sound and music that you will here in the game is well done. The music is taste full and fun, and the sound effects are almost perfect to what you would actually hear at say a skate park or where ever. Just a few nitpicks about the game that are that it can be a bit repetative to have to do almost the same thing over and over again with each skater to actually completely complete the game to its entirety. Another thing is that at times its seems that the program can be a bit slow to carry out a trick or initiate it and at times it won't go at all but this could also be a control problem as well. The park builder is pretty much the same as the other games. The only new things are the addition to the types of jumps you can put in your park and the size of things. A shortcoming though is that fact that you can only build up land and not take it away. Over and all the game is great. Its fun to play and is one that you can play over and over and never really get board with.
