Great game! Old, but still highly addictive.

User Rating: 8.3 | Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 GBA
Yes, this is Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2. Yes, it's for the Game Boy Advance. But before, I had played this game so much, that I had beaten it about 14 times. It would be a good 5-10 $ buy, I guess. Gameplay: Good. For the time at which it was released it was really good. You can kind of customize your skater's tricks, but you must buy them first. You gain the money in Career Mode by earning goals and special tricks, THPS Old School style. Career Mode is good, as everytime you pass every single career in each skater, you get another "cheat" to use during gameplay. That's pretty much the award after. Once you have passed every level with every skater, you get a special level. It's pretty small, and not so good. I still have yet to figure out if there is a point to this, and if you have to beat something. Graphics: Well, it's for Game Boy Advance, so what do you expect!? You can definitely see and understand what's going on, but it's definitely not like a normal console. But, from the games that I've played on GBA, I'd say that this game has the best. The detail between different skaters isn't very different. Really, it's pretty difficult to tell which rider is which, unless you've played the game forever and recognize them by their clothing. Sound: Surprisingly good. There is no licensed music, but it's got catchy music with good sound effects. You can always hear the effects clearly, and understand what the skater's mood is. The low point of the sound is the variety in music. When listening, you will probably hear the same song come on every 10 minutes. Extra Stuff: Not much at all. Really, there is only the cheats to have fun with after the game is over. You might want to get every single gap, which is pretty hard to do in this game, so I wouldn't recommend that either. Value: Well, it's about 5-10 $ now, so you can easily get it. Their isn't much else to say, except that I wouldn't recommend you buying it now, especially since THPS 3, and maybe even 4, are probably about the same price. But if you are a serious collector, and an old school gamer, you might want to check this out.
