a no-brainer to buy

Tombraider Legend was a revelation that it could be done on a handheld and work well, this ups the ante! I remember playing the first ever tombraider & this "anniversary" edition is worlds ahead in presentation and gameplay. You'll get the butterflies in the tummy feeling whenever Lara jumps over a chasm or from wall to wall, which happens a lot! If you're afraid of heights, this is therapy.

GRAPHICS : it looks wonderful. the updated graphics really are a brand new game as i cannot remember the rooms being this large and the scope of the game is more apparent because you can make out everything as a ledge you can jump to or a landing you have to fall onto, etc...

SOUNDS : nothing groundbreaking but the series was never one for majestic music and sfx

GAMEPLAY : i never finished the the original cuz i got bored with the look, i haven't stopped playing this yet as i want to find all the relics i didnt get the first time around. controls are perfectly mapped for the game but expect the camera to be a problem with looking around as there is no free-look mode

REPLAY : finished it ...still playing thank you...

You can't go wrong with this game for fun and excitement. I compare it to the Prince of Persia games on the psp and where Rival Swords was great with big boss battles, "anniversary" brings the spelunking back into play. Daxter was a visual treat and this is better as it just looks freakishly real with no goofy weapons. The old Tombraiders pale in comparison and Ms Croft never looked better!
