Splinter Cell is an excellent stealth game that still stands out as a great entry in a great series.
This realistic, tactical steath game features Sam Fisher, an agent of a governent agency made to stop global threats before they happen, sneaking his way into the darkest underbellies of terrorist organizations and taking them out... quietly. Splinter Cell is a game that made a new super franchise and kept the Tom Clancy name rollin' with gamers.
Gameplay: The gameplay for Splinter Cell is very well done. The steath elements are superb and the various stealth moves you can preform is great. Although it is a pretty tough game, once you figure out how to use each stealth move, you'll have a blast playing.
Graphics: This is a series which has failed to dissapoint in the graphical department. This first installment pushed the Xbox closer to it's limits, and looks way better than several newer titles.
Sound: Again, the sound effects are outstanding and perfect for the gameplay style.
Value: This is another game that you can find for under $5 used, or with the Classic Collection. This game is easily worth the money for it's deep and enjoyable single-player game and for the additional levels for download via Xbox Live.
Final Remarks: This is another great Tom Clancy game that is a must for all stealth game fans.
