This is one of the best fps up to date not perfect but not too far from it (single player review)
the graphics are pretty good when your character is viewing buildings and enemies etc from a distance. up close though it starts to get a little blurry but not that much. the weapon is set is not large but not small, but there are no rocket launcher and electric gun like in cod and killzone. its basic bullet ammo firing guns and this kinda adds to the difficulty. also equipment such as c4 and grenades are available. the equipment really shows how r6v is more difficult than the average shooter. only two pieces of equipment can be carried. eg grenades and c4. and only three of each piece can be taken each one being used one at a time. eg 3 c4 bombs and 3 grenades. wen playing on hard difficulty only 2 of each piece of equipment can be taken eg 2 c4 bombs and 2 grenades.
story
the actual story is not that long it takes only 8 to 10 hours, but the experience itself is long and great. the places u go in the game are really memorable and the game itself is quite epic. the only character that is memorable is logan because the others die and are changed during the game. there are no cutscenes and the isnt really a story.its just different missions to complete like saving hostages and destroying data hubs. the only eal objective that lasts through the entire story is to capture the leader of the terrorists irena morales.
other modes
there is the terrorist hunt which is the only other type of single player action. terrorist hunts are quite difficult as the terrorists actually come at searching for you which is kinda in retrospect. at a certain point in the hunt, all or most of the remaining or living terrorists come for you in all directions, unless you work tactically so that the remaining tangos are only goin to come from one direction. in terrorist hunt its almost as if they are expecting you because as you poke out of cover or fire a couple shots they know exactly where you are.

in normal or realistic difficulties the terrorsist are quite stupid. but it doesnt keep them from shooting you down in a second. their skill is very high as they have high accuracy and are extremely heavy on the trigger and shoot at u the moment they see you so unless you move out the way or find cover, your dead in 2 seconds. their behaviour on the other hand is quite stupid. it can benefit you but may also lead to a simple death.
after less than a minute has passed without firing your weapon in cover they all come after you. sometimes up to seven in a row. if your gun is prepared, this results in seven easy kills, but sometimes, they come for you while your reloading, so unless your lucky, your dead.
another stupid act they do is that they completely ignore blind fire when your tryin to suppress them and walk up to you and bam your dead. if you poke out to shoot them while their comin to you theyll shoot you down so its a lose-lose situation.
one positive aspect of terrorist behaviour is their speech which is extremely funny at times. listening to them can help you in the game and can also give a good laugh.
overall gameplay
the gameplay is extremely good and i strongly suggest to all fps fans. honestly it was so good that i erased all the data off my hard drive on my ps3 so i cud experience it all over again. it starts off with many guns missing and these are found during the story and terrorist hunts. youll have lots of fun playin this game.
