A soilid first person shooter for the PS2.

User Rating: 8.5 | Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Lockdown PS2
I'll keep this review simply, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Lockdown is a solid team based FPS. In Lockdown story mode there are two types of missions sniper and campaign. In sniper you cover the Rainbow team from a high vantage point as they complete an objective, and campaign you are in control of one Rainbow team member and you also give the others orders to complete several objectives.

In campaign missions there are hidden briefcases that contain intel. Collecting these gets you intel points to buy new weapons, characters, and cheat codes. This means that there is a lot of replay value to the game.

There are 16 singleplayer missions, which rage from sniper, stealth, hostage, and gun battles. These missions can also be played in multiplayer co-op mode, but there is also a head to head multiplayer mode which puts players against each other.

The graphics in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Lockdown are really well done from the cut scenes to gameplay, even the blood effects look real. And your character always has goggles on (so you can switch vision modes easily) so if there is a helicopter near by you goggles will get covered in dust, and if you are in a cold basement they will get frost on them.

Sometimes the AI is slow to react, but most of the time they are ready for a fight and sometimes when your taking cover behind a brick wall you can get shot and killed, which is a bad glitch but doesn't happen too much.

But overall the game is well made with lots of missions and shooting and a some-what interesting plot.
