If your a fan of Tom Clancy games you'll most likely want to check this one out

Let me start out by saying if you've played Counter-Strike for the PC than you it might interest you to know that this game is similar in ways. The game starts you out as Ding Chavez, a leader of a "elite" counter-terrorist squad. You and your team are just doing a set of missions that take place throughout the world eliminating terrorist, defusing bombs, the usual. During a few missions on the game you'll play as a sniper set at certain areas of the level to help your teamates get into buildings or other areas. To be honest I really didnt like doing this because if your teamates get hurt at all the damage you sustain will carry over to the next part of the mission.

That leads me to say that your squad isn't so "elite" in fact there completley useless at times as they end up getting shot or end up getting in your way. Amazingly the teamates that do end up dieing will magically reappear in the mission so in a way its positive but a little creepy. The best thing about your team however is that you can customize the weapons they have so it could be useful depending on how you look at it. Your team can also break down doors and run in to try and clear the room out but other then that I wouldn't rely on to much.

The gameplay was ok I kind of expected more out of a Tom Clancy game so I gave it a solid 8 there were some noticeable flaws I the game like your weapons have no recoil, the artificial intelligence is really pathetic like at some points of the game they will see you and hardly not even notice you which brings down the games realism. Also the addition of the heartbeat sensor really makes the game incredibly easy seeing as you can stand behind a wall and it shows you the enemies location which adds nothing strategic to the game whatsoever. You will also be able to save your game anywhere throughout the game making it even more easy to beat the game. Weapons in the game are pretty nice if you’ve played Counter-strike or any kind of first person shooter some of the guns you might recognize but here you will have to choose which weapon you want wisely.

Lockdowns graphics are in a word OK at best they could've stepped it up a little but there still solid. Character models look nice nothing to spectacular, the cut scenes are probably the highlight of the graphics but again nothing to spectacular so if your hoping for amazing graphics you'll be disappointed. While playing Lockdown I didn’t really have any framerate issues while playing the game so thats always a plus. A really great effect they added in the game was that you'll be looking through Dings goggles so the first person experience is enhanced even more.

The sound really was the bright spot in the game since theres really nothing wrong with it. Voice acting was alright especially in the cut scenes they lip sink really good just enough to keep some realism of the game in tact. Value wise its really fun if you like first person shooters but the story really didn’t keep me entertained and kind of strayed off at times it just didn’t have depth to it so it made me loose interest fast. There are little briefcases throughout the game to collect so you can unlock stuff in the game and to be honest its not really worth it.

Overall I liked the game it just doesn’t keep you hooked for long and you will eventually get bored with it. Rainbow Six Lockdown is more worth a rental but if your into Tom Clancys games and like first person shooters you'll more then likely love this.
