I can tell you that there are plenty of hardcore Rainbow fans that hate this game. A good portion of them hated it before it even came out. But if you are thinking about getting this game don't let all the negative posts get to you. This is a great game that has not gotten the attention it deserves. On to my review. I will try to keep this review spoiler free so if some things seem a little dry then that is why. Graphics: 9/10 The graphics in this game aren't the best you'll see in present games but they are good. From my point of view the graphics have nice lighting and a good amount of detail but the color makes the enviroments look a bit dated. The character models don't look to detailed but they blend in nicely with the levels. You can tell it is the character you created. The cut scenes in this game look nice and are done pretty well. Sound: 8/10 There is little to no music in this game except for the menu screens. However you are treated to footsteps, voices, gun shots, and more. The sound part of the game may seem small but it was well done. Gameplay: 8/10 Single Player - Well I can tell you that Single Player starts off pretty slow. But it does pick up. The A.I starts off simple but as you progress the A.I gets harder. You'll start of pretty much working your own way "lone wolf style" through the levels but you will learn to use your team as you go. Soon enough your team can help you out big time. The campaign pretty much keeps the action going. Some say there is no tactics but later on you will find out they were wrong. Unless you are just blessed with luck. Multi Player - Multi Player is the most fun part of the game for me. While it may not be Ghost Recon Summit Strike it does offer enough to keep you playing even if you don't like the game. How is that possible? I base that off the fact that I played with a server full of people that said they didn't like the game yet they kept playing it for hours. The PEC mode is by far the best part of multiplayer for the Xbox. You can level up and get new skills as well as buy and repair new/obtained equipment. There are some lag issues but it's not to bad unless you get a host with a bad connection. After you get used to online gameplay it turns out to be lots of fun. ..................................................................................................... While hardcore fans may not like this game, except a few..it is a great game to at least try. If you asked me if you should rent or buy it I would say buy it. If you don't have xbox live then rent it. This game grows on you and it deserves a shot. Play it for a few hours and try the different modes. You'll probably end up having fun. It's pretty replayable since you got the online career, and the story isn't bad. All and all I give this game a 8.6 outta 10. This game should be tried at least once by any hardcore fan and this game will also be good for new blood in the rainbow series.
