I heard great things about Ghost Recon but made the mistake of getting the Xbox version instead of the xbox360!
I remember first trying to play this game and gave up after just an hour due to so many flaws. I recently decided to tough it out and finish the game. Where to begin?
The graphics: dumbed down.
The AI: borderline retarded.
The story: Lame.
The gameplay: Frustrating.
The fun level: low, but steady.
This game felt, and now I have confirmed, is a cheap crap version of the 360 Ghost recon. When you start off you'll find many things to frustrate you. It doesn't take long before you find yourself very low on health and your stupid companion, Sanchez, is completely worthless at drawing fire, and will at times even throw grenades at you. idiot.
The missions do have a decent length, but the checkpoints are random and at times very far apart. There is absolutely no chance of a change in pace in this game, no vehicles, no mini games, nothing. Which I honestly don't mind in a well crafted FPS, but this is not one of them.
Even when you finally get tank to help you, they will quickly run out of ammo and leave the fight. And if you call in an air strike, be careful because your compadre, Sanchez will camp out right where the bombs will drop. idiot.
I'm definitely selling this game.
