By far and away it is the MOST realistic combat game every, the eyepiece is in current US army testing, Hk 416 is in use in Afghanistan, but mexico having a nuke, not quite on that one :S. Coz of its realism, its so different from other games and might even be called boring or difficult if you're not careful. Well isnt that war is? boring and dangerous. Most people i talked told me they were annoyed by the being hit by a sniper you havent seen and dying, (most in the game use the .50, and thats the point of a sniper) and the vets i heard always they were 'annoyed' by snipers. So it gets top points for realism, therefore since war isnt fun! this game aint fun! i think its that simple. Call of Duty is fun, coz its horribly unrealistic.
Also top notch for explosion effects (C4, nades) and perfect muzzle noise simulation.
And gamespot review said it makes u cry. it never made me cry, if you use 4 man team tactics such as leap frog or simple flanking manouvre, you will complete the mission getting a perfect score or excellent and with minimal injuries.
I also loved the recoil, top marks.
I do concede it is not that fun, but personally i loved playing it, still it would never be even close to the real thing!
