This is a great game, that could have become a classic. In fact ,it is an exceptional game for everyone would likes strategy shooter as oppose to pure run and gun. It is much better than previous GR. Graphics, sounds, controls are mostly very good. The missions are challenging and not simple, you often have to try a few strategies before you succeed. You must also learn how to pin ennemies with one of half your group and go sneak to the side with the other half to finish them. Also some great weapon like the M29 where you have a camera system to aim without exposing yourself (this is great). Certainly on the plus side you will appreciate the gamesave at any point because for most people you die a lot in GR. A few improvements to be made: Compared to Rainbow 6 I find the command you give to your team are not executed precisely. e.g. you point to area and tell them to advance they will go way further which makes it difficult to execute a well thought of plan. This was much much... better in R6 Black Arrow. Now why GR2 did not get my 'Classic award' is the following: In the context of GR2 with a drone and air support that can shoot everywhere, why don't we have the possibility to get in the map the positioning of the ennemies (either precise or just a rough circle area). This would allow to read you map and prepare a strategy to attack, at the moment it is a bit of react to attack rather than strategy. If put as an option it could add a lot of replay value. Still a very good game, highly recommended
