A fun, albeit difficult , tactical shooter.

User Rating: 9.3 | Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 2: Summit Strike XBOX
Ghost Recon 2 Summit Strike is a tactical shooter for the Xbox. You play as Scott Mitchael, leader of a squad of Ghosts, a fictional special forces unit. Throughout the game's 11 mission campaign, you will do a multitude of things. These range from assaulting enemy bases, to destroying pieces of artillery and SAM sites. Most of the time, you will have a squad at your back. You can give them simple orders like regroup or move forward, but for the most part thy can get by on their own. Their are times that when you target an enemy vehicle or piece of artillery, if you press Y, they will blow it up for you. This is nice if you are out on ammo, or you just feel kind of lazy. At the beginning of a level, yoy are given intel on your objectives and a huge map of the area. Then, you choose your different weapons. You get one assault rifle, which there are different classes of. You also get a pistol for backup, and 2 kinds of explosives, whether it's a bazooka, or grenades. At any time during the mission, you can hold the left trigger, and the huge map pops up, showing all of the terrain and objectives on the level. The levels are huge and wide open, giving you a lot of options on how to go about your objectives. This is a Tom Clancy game, so it's realistic as hell. You can only take a couple shots before you're down. Also, if you are anywhere near an explosion, you are down. Graphics are some of the greatest I have ever seen on Xbox. The character models, the buildings, everything is flawless. Sound is also common from a war game. Gunfire, explosions, it's all there. Ghost Recon 2 is a great game, and shouldn't be missed by any.
