Others have tried to make the greatest squad baased tactical shooter they could but Ubisoft does it best.

its pretty much the same as al lthe other ghost recons accept you have the 3rd person view instead of being stuck in the first person view not being able to see any gun what so ever. The third person perspective is deifnately the best thing Ubisoft has incorperated into both the GR2 games gameplay wise. Other than the new view perspective not much has changed.
Graphics

The graphics are beautiful and crisp, some of the best you will see on the original xbox. So far this graphic engine is the best in the series and just seems to get better and better everytime you play it. Ubisoft has done a great job with weather effects and the cool little shiny "wet" looking effects when it rains and your character model becomes shiny. speaking of character models you can tell Ubisoft has taken a great deal of care dealing with them. They are simply beautiful, head to toe you can see every little detail of the soldiers outfit. The other portion of graphic detail poured into this game would have to be the enviorments. the enviorments range from dry looking desert canyons to rain drenched valleys, basically if your looking for quality enviorments to go with your beautiful character models you have it right here in this game.
Sound

Sound is great in GR2:SS, the sounds of the guns firing is almost like being right next to shooting range. you can hear everything from the clip being smacked into the rifle, to each idividual shell hitting the ground its amazing. although the weapons sound great the voice acting gets a little annoying after a while because of the same lines repated over and over. if you can get over that part of the sound then its great.

If you live squad based tactical shooters then with no doubt you are going to liek this game. it has solid gameplay good AI and absolutely brilliant multiplayer. the single player game is good but the multiplayer is where its at. so if your going to get this game make sure you have xbox live also because the bulk of the replay value is coming from the multiplayer. with over 24 multiplayer maps and dozens of gameplay types you can go wrong, so with one last final word if you love sqad based shooter i definately recommend you pick up this game.
