This game had promise... but it fails to be a good fighting game.

User Rating: 2 | Tom and Jerry in Fists of Furry N64

Some time earlier, I watched a video from Cubex55 (World of Longplays) of an N64 game called Tom and Jerry: Fists of Furry. Curious to know what this game was about, I decided to find a ROM for this game to play it on the Wii64.

The objective of Tom and Jerry: Fists of Furry is to deplete all of the opponents health in the time you have, using weapons, special items and your melee combat. You are put in various stages based off of the classic cartoon and fight various characters like Tom, Jerry, Spike, Duckling and various other characters in the franchise. There is a Single Player and Multiplayer, allowing you to either play by yourself or with friends.

The real question is: Is this a good game? For me, the answer is no. The reasons for this include the stupid AI, the repetitive music, the boring gameplay and the lack of good voice acting. All this makes a really poor fighting game on the N64. I heard that this game was a clone of another game called Power Stone, so I might check out that game.
