Thrillville...

Thrillville Off the Rails...an interesting buy. It was definetly not the best game ever, but it was decent. It started off strong, and it can get you addicted to it once you've played it for a few minutes. The story line wasn't fantastic: Your a park manager who opens and runs Thrillville parks. However, there is a mystery throughoutbthe entire game that you are trying to solve: Someone from a rival company is trying to steal the parks ideas and give it bad reviews so you lose customers. Kind of original.

However, this game was fun in some aspects. The whole game is you running your park and creating everything in it. Pretty cool. There are coasters and tracks that are pre-made for you, but wouldn't you want to create your dream coaster yourself? It's way of completing it is better because it doesn't have a set storyline that you always follow. It's organized into "missions" that you can choose to complete whenever you feel like it. But, when you start a park, not all missions are available. New missions must be unlocked by completing other missions at a certain level or reaching certain goals. Multiplayer was pretty fun as well, which you can select from the main menu. In this you play the minigames that you've unlocked in career mode. The only downside to it is that I sometimes found it confusing to set up.

But to every game, there are downsides, and this was no exception. Often in the middle of the game, the game sometimes suddenly freezes without warning. I don't know if it was my Wii or the game, but I checked the CD and it was clean and without scratches. Also, I found it odd how the difficulty of the game changed so much. Sometimes it was, easy, sometimes very hard, just right, and then back to easy.

After all of this, I have come to the decision that this game deserves an
8.0. It wasn't the greatest game ever designed, but it was pretty fun for the most part, without too many problems. I recommend this game for anyone who want as fun game that will last them a while and has a fun multiplayer. (Please note: I have the Wii version of this game and I don't know anything about the other system versions.)
