Thrillville off the rails for DS is a game in which you own some theme parks and try to build them up and get more money to build more up... all the while trying to stop the evil... clowns... from wrecking your business. Makes sense, eh? The problem is, it's way too easy as you make money always however discontent customers are. You can't even create your own rides, just buy them, but that's easy with that huge stash of money you've got that is constantly increasing. It's mildly fun, but the problem is that you hardly have a role. There are minigames in which you have to 'clean up' rides, but they are so easy and tedious. There are also seven slightly more fun minigames, and even though you've seen them all before, they are still enjoyable. Also incorporated into the main plot is some point and click action, but it's quite basic and rudimentary. Thrillville off the rails is a bland, uninteresting game that doesn't even let you properly customise your park.
