Thief offers a great stealth experience in a fantastic setting. Interesting visuals and the voice acting and sounds aren't displeasing but there aren't amazing either. Thief is a good game worth playing through until the end. I loved it as a stealth-gamer, but there are some aspects of the game that could have been improved upon. The game can be repetitive at times whilst trying to maintain a stealthy composure and outlook in missions. Sometimes bludgeoning unsuspecting victims with a blackjack dragging them into the dark looting the area and exiting isn't that satisfying, but that's the wisest way to approach a mission and maintain a good rating without getting killed yourself. Other than that the game is very pleasing, fun, interesting and worth the time. The areas do differ as well as NPC's but it could use more, hopefully a future release of Thief Deadly Shadows or a game that is similar on a next-gen platform with justify this game's genre.
