not bad once you get into it, but lacks the fun of previous versions. thank goodness for cheats or it would be very bad.

having played this over and over and not getting the point, i decided to set aside a day and get into it. and the high point of the game was getting kneecapped by the monkey in darius' apartment. everything elso was so so.
the lay out of the buildings made it hard to control or find your sim or where you wanted to get to at times, depending on where you were at. some of the interactions between sims were at best sickly and quickly thought up. i guess they were under pressure to put a game out no matter what the quality was like. money over matter i guess. as of this writing the sims2 for console is out and it hasn't got any better. but all in all this is not a bad game for a rainy day and nothing better to do.
