Now this is a Great Escape !
Its got everything you need in a game, a bad-ass for a hero, an awesome location, cool story & some insane & horrific villains.
The horror setting is often compared to Resident Evil or Silent Hill but that comparison is very wrong. Torque (main character) doesn't seem to struggle to survive , he seems to be able to kick ass no matter how big , strong or smart the enemy is. I guess its closer to Doom rather then the other titles.
The gameplay is amazing, the weapons sound great, heads & torso's exploding from long range is great & all but i really fell for the fire axe.
As you play throughout the game you have to make decisions which determine if you are a good guy or bad, guilty of your crime or innocent. This is the first game where i actually tried being a bad guy ( second play through ) & that was one intense experience, the story & Torque are very monstrous in this case.
I was not that impressed with " Ties that bind " but even that seemed to have a few good moments.
Can't wait for the movie now
