Love it. The Sims 2 looks great, sounds great and plays great!

It was when my friend got it that I started getting into it. It looked like a PSP game. And this led me to get it. First you start by creating your Sim. You can make him/her look like whatever you want so that's pretty cool.
There's an opening movie that shows you in your car storming into "Strangetown". Your car breaks down, and now you are stuck in this stupid town in the middle of nowhere. A guy says he will be able to fix it but it will take a while. So you might as well explore this place. You enter the hotel and find some troubled characters that you have to restrain or cheer up. Your goal is to complete the mission that Sims have given you. The real fun that you'll get out of this game is exploring this open world. Even though you have got a mission, you are not forced to do it. Just try to complete it when you feel you have nothing to do. One of the main things that are happening in town are new people visiting and staying in the hotel. Some of these Sims have plans, like one tricks you into planting a bomb in the mayor's office. Also Aliens invade either if you change the time on your DS, or just because they can. Anyhow, you get weapons to get rid of them. It's stuff like this that keeps you extremely entertained!
Overall, you may say "This isn't the Sims! This is completely different!" And yes it is but this one has a story line and everything. You know what? I don't think I've got the message across. I know good DS games and bad DS games. A lot of people don't like this game just because it isn't a true Sims game. But if you imagine that it's not the Sims, you will find this to be a fantastic DS game.
