A fun game to spend hours on!!!

This was one of the first games i played as a kid and even if it seems a bit confusing in the beginning, after a few hours of gameplay you get the hang of it, and playing one of the many maps or the campaign gets a lot of fun. It's enjoyable to watch those little guys run all over build, hack, chop, mine etc. making your economy grow stronger and with every military building you build you get one step closer to conquer the next enemy, whether those are weird looking Nubians and Japanese or other fellow friendly or hostile Romans.
The game is most rewarding and satisfying if everything runs smoothly and your economy seems to work like it has a mind of it's own, making you feel like "The Architect". If you get your hands on Settlers 2 don't miss out on a great Game. If you can't get it to play on the latest Platforms, i managed it using the freeware Dosbox.
