Missed This Entire Series the First Time.

Somehow I missed this entire series when it came out due to college, another game or something etc. It's not bad. Puzzles make you think just enough. Picks up where Sierra left off . Sort of a cross between Space Quest and an anti-pirate adventure in a pirate land
as the main character seems to be lawful good and not a pirate at all. You become accustomed to this character after time that is neither truly seeking to be a pirate with comments such as, " I couldn't do that or, that would be unlawful" with the character of Guybrush and his occasional flair of lawlessness. It seems the creators were trying to play both sides of morality without thinking about whom the main character truly is. I would have preferred they had picked a side for their main character or picked a different theme as the young teen seems neither a pirate lusting for gold nor a village hero in either respect and found his comments and actions sometimes completely contrary to even a mixed morality pirate like young Guybrush would convey.
The interface was easy to pick up and master.
The story is interesting despite the wet, sometimes annoying humor. A decent game to play if you missed this the first go around. Revamped graphics for those that had enjoyed it the first time. I enjoyed it enough to play the 2nd game in the series. I'm playing the fifth game in the series now which is truly worth playing.
