I'm probably on my own on my opinions of this one but forget all the nostalgia and the positive reviews I've been reading everywhere but it seems like this game has taken a step back from the original. I used to spend hours playing the original on my PC and feel that the movement and fluidity of the game has been seriously dampened by its appearance on the xbox. Fair enough the graphics are better and the storyline, jokes, etc are as good as they ever were but it can't excuse the rigidness of the new version. May be the game is just suited to the PC and the use of a keyboard.
They missed a trick on this game. It could have brought a whole new generation of gamers into the world of monkey island but instead they've just managed to disappoint the old ones!
All I can hope is that Lucas Arts revamps the Space Quest series on a full disc version as they owe us gamers this!!!
