Fun for a long time
Gameplay:
The gameplay is complex and fun. You kill guys and get XP then level you guy up to @$$ kickingness. The fights are turned based and very sratigec. There is an order that the battle will go in. You can cast spells to slow the order of the enemy and give you more turns. You will need that alot. You get six people to join your party over time. They are: The mian character, Berethor, Idrial a elf, Elegost a ranger, Hadhood a dwarf, Eadon a royal gaurd person and Morowen and exiled maid with some major angor ishues. Every character has a speciality in some. Berethor is an execelent swordsman. Idrial is very good with spiret powers. Elegost is very good with a bow and arrow. It goes on like that. Some of the characters are veritile and can go either way. They are the most fun characters because you have better control of their skillz. You run paralel to the movies and run into the characters and scenes from the movies like the battle between Ganadorf and the Bolrag.
Graphics:
The characters are nicly anamated and and move well. The combat movments work well enough. The enviroments are phenemonal. They are well anamated and look amazing. The graphics are amazing for a gamecube game.
Sound:
They got all of the music from the movies and the voice acting works well. The sound is really the bow on the package. Some of the characters that do not have major parts do not even have voise overs.
Value:
The game is really long and explorable. Even after you beat you can go back and play it in evil mode. There you play as the enemy. This adds alot of replayablilty. You can also back and level up you guys and find items you miss. ALSO you can play it in co-op mode. Great for friends as everyone will find something to like in this game.
Tilt:
I HATE HATE HATE LOTR and this game was really enjoyable. That is proof that you do not need to like the license to like the game.
