Cel-da proves to be one of the most elite games for the gamecube despite its skeptecism amongst critics and fans.
And without further ado wind waker shocked the pants out of me of how good it was and still is, I ignored the critics point of views of stuff but i didnt think the game would be that good. it proved to everyone that this is a zelda game and it will show up the others.
Now wind waker begins with link just hangin out on a tower and his little sister gets him because its his birthday and then the whole story and tradition of boys wearing green clothes comes up and shortly there after his sister gets captured by a huge blue bird and gets taken away, at first this seems to be the main plot for half of the game but has this game have many surprizes for the player. the gameplay is just like the previous iterations of the series as far as swordplay goes and many other projectile weapons and items, as well as the transportation goes is replaced by a talking boat by the name "the king of red lions" instead of a trusted steed. the storyline is probably one of the best (like any of the storylines for zelda games are bad) but this game is exceptionally good because of the twisting turn of events of the storyline. the music is as good as ever and boss battles are epic with the lengthy storymode and many things to collect giving WW good replay value. Overall the game is magnificent and proves everybody wrong that the cel shading graphics couldnt bring link down. pick it up at the nearest gamestop or wherever because its a good catch and its a keeper.
