This puts a new twist on the Zelda series as the Minish Cap includes many new characters and places!

User Rating: 9.5 | The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap GBA
The game Starts off like most Zelda games. Three hearts, no rupees, and no items sounds familiar. The story begins unlike others by the fact that you have already met and are friends with princess Zelda. The main "bad guy" is Vaati who turns princess Zelda to stone soon after you start the game. Here you get the broken Picori blade and you first sword and a tiny shield. So basically you have to get the four elements to return the Picori back to it's full power. (It is this games version of the master sword.)

A little ways into the Minish woods you will find the Minish cap. This is the same as Navi except it has a bit more of a storyline behind it. So this cap was originally a Minish, but was cursed by Vaati who happened to be it's apprentice. Go a little further and you will find possibly the most important new feature in the game. This stump will shrink you into Minish Link! There will be many different forms of these warps in Hyrule so keep in eye out for.

This game includes the traditional line-up of dungeons. Forest, Fire, Water (swamp), Ice, and then an additional wind temple. The boss fights are just right and original. I thought that it was very creative that they used normal enemies such as chu-chus and octorocks as bosses in Minish dungeons.

The new kinstone system is cause for extra hours of gameplay not just looking for kinstone pieces but finding the people to fuse with and then finding the prize. This can be frustrating and sometimes very far away, but it sometimes results in a heart piece so it is worth looking into.

There are many more side-quests and polishes to try out too. Don't be afraid to take risks in this game.

In all this game is a excellent addition to the long line of Zelda games
