The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of time is considered to be the best video game of all time. In my opinion it isn't really but it's up there. (Cause it's not a platformer) But here we start the review.
STORY
You are young Link a little elf boy born and raised in the Kikkori Village. Awakes from a nightmare of Ganon stealing the Princess of Hyrule Zelda. He is given the task by a Navi fairy to destroy whatever ails a dying Tree. Link is part of a prophecy where he must save the world from utter chaos and must get a magical Ocarina that can bend time and space. Link himself must get all the Triforces and free the sages so that Ganon may be defeated.
GAMEPLAY
The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time is one of the most innovative and intuitive Video games of all time. Zelda has finally become 3D unlike previous titles where they where just all 2D. This gives you a fully 3D action adventure game with RPG elements! You can go anywhere at any time with day night change. You lock on enemies and attack them. The combat works well.
The world is simply alive and full of NPC's. Explorable.
You can 100% the game by getting collectibles.
There are many dungeons around. Each have mind boggling puzzles and goodies. Items to use. Every level is themed and has amazing level designs better than any platformer. all intricate worlds with explorations.
Bosses with weak points and patterns.
Ride Epona.
Play mini games.
Get boomerangs, bombs, grapples, power ups, and many other things.
Ocarina of time is sure fire to fill many childhoods with love and iconic memories.
GRAPHICS
The Graphics of Ocarina of time certainly for the most part clean but dated. They looked great back then but now they are just merky and blocky. Just very low res and laggy.
But I do like the art style. It's an anime style known from many shonen comics. There is an atmosphere to this world however. Many dungeons are filled with wonder but also pure horror and dread.
The ice Temple is fantastic to look at. The Deku tree is just a vomit worthy. But overall there is a lot to go about. You will love it as much as I did.
SOUND
The sound of Ocarina of time is also very memorable. Many levels with spark memories of peace, humor, fear, tears, and excitement. The sound system is quite great.
But boy is Navi annoying.
OVERALL
Ocarina of time is certainly an inspirational piece. I love it and so will you.
