Better than I could have imagined

User Rating: 10 | The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds 3DS
I have been playing Zelda the majority of my life and needless to say I was excited to hear we were getting a new title for the 3DS. Upon reading into it I really didn't like what I was hearing. A sequel to A Link to the Past (whose story has concluded with Link's Awakening), where you turn into a painting, rent all of your items instead of finding them, and somehow Majora's Mask is a part of it. Hearing this turned me off to the point where I wasn't going to buy it; I was repulsed by where they were going with my beloved franchise... I couldn't have been more wrong. A few weeks prior to it's release I recieved a preorder slip for the game as a birthday gift. I was still hesitant as I was starting it up but that all went away fast. Amazing dungeons, amazing story, a welcome gimmick. They really hit the nail on the head with this game. I would recommend to anyone who hasn't to go out and buy it immediately. Even if you haven't played it's predecessor you still should play this game (A Link to the Past being one of the four Zelda games I haven't completed). The only complaint I could possibly make is that I can't stand being told to take a break if I've played longer than 3 hours, but that's irrelevant to the fact that it's a phenomenal game and a welcome addition to the franchise.
