First I will tell you the basic storyline.
Three years has passed since Spyro (Elijah Wood) defeated the ape king Gaul, and froze himself, his new companion that was once a bad guy Cynder (Christina Ricci), and Spyro's annoying but funny friend Sparx (Wayne Bradey) inside a Crystal to save their lives. A group of weird looking creatures find Spyro, Cynder, and Sparx in this crystal. They end up breaking it open and they put a strange chain around the unconscious Spyro, and Cynder's necks. As they take their leave, a strange feline-humanoid named Hunter (Blair Underwood) picks up Sparx and takes him away. Spyro and Cynder wake up to find themselves in a large arena like room that looks to be in a set of catacombs. They try to leave, only the chain around their necks won't let them leave, they also can't separate too far from each other. As they escape the Catacombs with Hunter he tells them all that has happened during their disappearance. Apparently, the Dark Master Malefor (Mark Hamill) has returned and is wreaking havoc across the world with his army.... do I really need to tell you much else from here.

Good points of the game.
SPYRO CAN FINALLY FREAKING FLY WHENEVER YOU WANT!!!! Yes, Spyro can fly at any time you want, although there is a height ressistment. no longer will the only time that you fly in Spyro, is in flying-only missions. The Combat system is so easy that it is almost impossible to die in the first level for noobey players. If you have played God of War, the combat system is like that, Square is light attack, Triangle is heavy attack. Circle is Grapple, them press Square, Triangle, or X repeatedly to use a grapple attack. R2 and R1 are your elemental attacks. L2 is to change Characters between Spyro, and Cynder. L1 is evade. The Storyline is so much fun, I found no stupid errors in its story.

Bad points of the game. (I only found one big one that made me mad).
The one thing that docked this game of .5 points, is the music in some areas, or parts. If you have played the previous games, A New Beginning, and Eternal Night, you will notice in very few parts, the music is the same as the first, or second game. 1 part his the final boss fight music for A New Beginning, while another part has the same music as Eternal Night.

In short, this game is absolutley incredible, just the music kinda bugs me a little, thats all.
