Ahh, the days of DOS. Games that were good and not revolving around sex and gore. This game offered witty humor and interesting story. It also inspired two other games, each better than the previous.

This game revolved around a young prince, Brandon, who was raised by Merlin the wizard. Kyrandia is in great danger as Malcolm, the evil jester, turns everything into stone. Shortly after we see the Brandon and Merlin in the intro, Merlin is petrified into a stone statue by an evil jester. It is up to you, prince Brandon, to find the wicked jester Malcolm and make him pay for petrifiying the whole of Kyrandia. Intriguing puzzles are spread out through this game. Later on in the game, you have the ability to use four special spells. I wouldn't want to spoil the surprise.

The graphics during this time weren't as advanced as they are today. Then it was viewed as the best. They are drawn as humanly without losing the fun factor.

The sounds and midi tracks were the best part of the game. Cool music you could jive to! They made you want to play the game.
